People attend colledge and university for many different reasons(for example,new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend colledge or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

  Today,colledge is not so hard to get in and therefore colledge graduates are not so much cherished than before. But why do more and more people still prefer attending colledge instead of conquering the real world after high school?The reasons are varied, in which I think considering the colledge years a preparation for the future is the biggest one.

 First, some people attend colledge or university just because they can when they are not  physiologilly and mentally ready.They havn't actually figure out what they want ,and going to colledge seems to be a good choice yet since they can and have more time to dig one's own gift. My aunt went to colledge studying Mathematics which major she was best at in high school.But after using computers to operate programs to do her daily works, she and her teacher both found that she was really good at the whole programming things. And now she is in the IT field enjoying herself.

Well,people also choose colledge for the experiences which they need to open their eyes before going to a wider society.Directly jumping from high school to the real world ,you may jump only a few feets further.Everything may still seem familiar. In colledge, you can see different people doing things that you can hardly imagine or get to know people of your type who you can do things with and will coopreate in your career.Like the famous Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer.You may have walked mile away through the colledge before you graduate. The new gate will you face to get to the society.

After all, knowlege is the key point that makes people attend colledge.Colledge always hire the best professors.These great guiders will teach us not only specific knowledge in specific major, but also the knowledge we need to be a great leader in the field or a great person in everywhere.There is an old gentleman teaching me the History of Ancient Architecture whose class always needs extra seats.He doesn't just show us the whole fabulous architecture world .Well, he also teaches us how to be the architect to build those things so great that people will never forget.Sometimes, people can learn much more from one great teacher than anyone else. The colledge is the buffering for getting better in the future.That's the reason why colledges and unversities exsist.
